I had a very detailed and informative with Dr Chakraborti about my current and further treatment. He answered all my questions and after the appointment I felt much more aware of what to expect in the future.

Dr C (as we call him!) has been caring for my Dad, Terence, for the past 2 years, since his prostate cancer diagnosis in March 2022 - and simply put - he is wonderful! From day 1, as a family, we have had total confidence that Dr C has Dads health and welfare as his top priority. He has shown patience at all times and is extremely knowledgeable, but also speaks in a straight forward language that we are all able to understand so that we are clear on Dads condition, and 'what happens next'. At appointments no question is too silly and we never feel rushed - in addition, over the last few months Dr C has been happy for myself and my sister to be in attendance (in addition to Mum & Dad) as he is acutely aware of just how precious our Dad is to all of us - and that we do everything as a 'Team'. As a family, we cant express how lucky we feel that Dr C is caring for our Dad. At several points over the last few months we've had to make contact for further info or advice etc - and Dr C is always quick to respond / advise us accordingly. We are so grateful. Huge Thanks xx

Dr Chakraborti has a very pleasant and caring manner. He took the time to explain how our discussions were going to proceed so that I knew what to expect. He went over the background of my condition in excellent detail and in a non medical manner to ensure that he and I had the same understanding, which we did. He put me at ease and then talked me though the treatment options and listened to my concerns. He made it clear that he would take all the time required for me and that I did not need to rush. He went over the treatment options several times until he was happy that I understood them fully. He obviously understands that cancer patients are in a state of stress and that they don't necessarily take everything in at the first attempt, which is excellent. I was there for longer than I expected, which was a very pleasant surprise. My wife and I left feeling reassured, fully understanding and agreeing with my treatment plan and altogether happier than when we arrived. I can't think of any significant way in which he could improve. Thank you.

To me the thing I have appreciated most about Dr. Chakraborti has been his understanding of my position. He takes the time to talk to me, explaining the treatments, the options and what I can expect. Even when I ask the same question over again it doesn't seem to phase him. I remember him saying to me during one consultation "you're worth it". That struck home with me and I think it sums up how I have felt whilst in his care. He believes I am worth it. Having that support from Dr. Chakraborti has certainly helped me on this journey.
